Current News

Now that our breeding season has come to an end we are enjoying the relationships we are forming with our four new foals. We welcomed a colt by Goodtimes, a colt by Asca Z, a filly by Crown Z and a filly by Calato Z. You will notice that there is a "Z" on the back of the stallion names as well as their offspring. This is representative ofZangersheide in Belgium who is one of the top stud book registries in Europe. You can read more about Zangersheide on their website by clicking on their name.

A quick update on our show horses:

Escapade HS has been showing on the line in Virginia with M.r Oliver Brown. She was 4th at the Upperville Colt & Horse Show, 2nd at the Deep Run horse show and recently 3rd at Lexington in the Non-Thoroughbred yearling filly division.

Imothep traveled to his first show at Culpeper since Florida and scored several ribbons with his new rider Ramiro Quintana. He finished 1st in the 7/8 year old YJC final class! Imothep also wins 7/8 yr old class at Saugerties!

Qlipper des Forets VDL also scored at Culpeper with several ribbons and a 1st place finish in the 6 year old YJC final class! Qlipper also finished 2nd in the 6 yr old YJC class at Saugerties.

Original VDL  placed at Culpeper with a notable 2nd place finish in the 7/8 year old JYC final class. Original also finished 2nd in the 7/8 yr old YJC  class at Saugerties.

Also coming up on September 8, 2010 we will welcome the American Holsteiner Horse Association as we host a Mare and Foal inspection. We welcome everyone to join us for this fun and educational event. We will post event details on this page as the event draws closer.

In association with Keswick Equine Clinic, Hyperion Stud has launched its full service Stallion Station and is ready to receive clients who want to preserve the future potential of their stallions. This operation will offer collection, storage and distribution services for stallion owners. We will be open for stallions who remain on active competitive schedules, as well as hosting stallions for extended periods of time during the breeding season. Depending on the time of year breeding clients will have access to either fresh cooled or frozen semen from the stallions on our roster.

As always we are bringing in sales horses from Europe on a regular basis with our partners at VDL Stud. Do you want to take a trip to Europe to find your next champion?
