Hyperion Show Jumping

Hyperion Stud show jumping was the foundation point of our development over the last 20 plus years. Show jumping is our passion and our focus, but we are not faithful to one discipline, one registry or one goal.

Can’t Touch This HS is a 2015 Mecklenburg and Oldenburg approved son of Casall. Bred from the best Holsteiner bloodlines in the World, stamm 776 ,

Can’t Touch This HS was born in Holstein Germany but bred by American breeder Reece Miller. CTT was bought by Hyperion Stud as a foal in 2015. He currently has 2 full brothers. One of which is 3 year old Can’t Touch This Too HS who was also approved by Mecklenburg in 2019 and is also currently with Jason McArdle in California.

After being gelded and imported to the USA, CTT and Jason McArdle dove right into the Hunter divisions. In his first two 3’6” Green Hunter Divisions he was Champion and then finished in 6th pace in his first ever $10,000 Hunter Derby in CA with Jason.

Dakota VDL aka Conquito, is a modern sport horse who is beautiful type with lots of expression and character. He has a great ride-ability showing a very athletic trot, and a very balanced, light-footed and powerful canter. He demonstrates scope, with very good take off and reflexes. He has powerful haunches, clean and careful technique with mature self control.

Dakota was inspected and approved by the BWP NA in 2012 and received one of the highest scores in their history with an 87! Also in 2012, Dakota VDL was approved by the AHHA with an overall score of 74.5%. Dakota VDL is a beautiful example of his sire, Casall.

Dakota VDL has been with Hyperion Stud since he was 4 years old. As a breeding and competition horse, he has been an outstanding stallion for us. When he came to the US he was the only son of Casall standing for breeding. He has performed in sport all over the world with our Teams over the years. He was the 6 yr old Champion at WEF and competed up to 1,45 with riders such as Taizo Sugitani and Darragh Kenny.

At 14 years old, he now enjoys a less stressful ring experience and his duties as a breeding stallion.

Ethene (v. Corrado/Cayado/Concorde stamm 776)  joined our operation in 2020 at the age of 9. However, Ethene has been in our circle since she was a foal. Purchased as a foal by her mother’s side by Americans Reece Miller and Dr Kim Favier, she came to our operation in Germany along with her Dam, Athene, whom Hyperion Stud purchased. Over the years we have bred with her mother while our colleagues raised Ethene into sport.

In 2020 we took over ownership of Ethene and sent her to Danish rider, Lars Bak Andersen. Since that time, Lars and Ethene have developed into the top sport. Together they have competed in 2*-5* competitions with numerous results. Most recently the duo placed 3rd in the World Cup Qualifier in Gothenburg, Sweden. Together we are aiming for the 2023 European Championships and 2024 Olympic Games for Team Denmark.
