Asterix E Z is a powerful jumping horse with superb technique and endless scope. Piloted by Robert Whitaker as a young horse, the pair successfully jumped up to 1,55m. With even a limited number of offspring out in the world, we see that Asterix successfully passes on his incredible temperament and jumping ability.
Asterix E Z has been retired from sport after an unfortunate injury ended his rise to the top levels of competition. He stands annually at Hyperion stud offering fresh semen to breeders in North America.
Asterix is a beautiful example of his Sire Air Jordan Z. His sire, Air Jordan Z, is a stallion who boasts unlimited scope along with a superb character. He had great success in upper level sport with Daniel Deusser and Judy-Ann Melchoir. In his career he was successful in World Cup events along with many top placings at the Grand Prix Level. As a father horse, Air Jordan Z has been given the title of Best Young Horses Sire in Fontainebleau in 2017. Along with being the Best Sire in the Selle Francais stallion licensing for three yr olds.
Dam Sire, Argentinus, is one of the most influential stallions of our time. He has been an outstanding producer of not only jumping horses but also dressage sons and daughters. A successful upper level jumper himself, with numerous results in sport. Argentinus is among Germany’s top sires and remained a top sire until his death in 2007.
